Privacy Policy

MacroBoarding is a product of Sakamoto Labs LLC (“we”). This policy covers two groups: customers, who sign up and install MacroBoarding, and end users, the people using a customer's app where the snippet runs.
Customers
- Account data: email, name, a bcrypt hash of your password (or your Google identity if you sign in with Google).
- Project data: onboarding plans, settings, and a snapshot of the MacroPrimer knowledge base you connect.
- Your MacroPrimer API key, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, used only to read that knowledge base.
- When you use AI generation, your knowledge-base snapshot is sent to DeepInfra, our model-hosting provider, which processes it only to produce the draft.
End users
For each person who loads a customer's app with the snippet, we store on the customer's behalf:
- An identifier: the id the customer passes to identify(), or a random id kept in the browser's local storage.
- Traits the customer chooses to send (for example email or sign-up date).
- Onboarding progress: which milestones, tours and messages they completed or dismissed, with timestamps.
We do not record page content, keystrokes or browsing history, set cookies, or sell or share this data. The customer is the controller of end-user data and we process it on their instructions. End users should contact the customer whose app they use; we will help the customer honour access and deletion requests.
Infrastructure and retention
Data is stored in Google Cloud (United States). Deleting a project deletes its plans, keys and every end user's progress immediately. Deleting your account on request removes your account data within 30 days.
